Here's How the Process Works:
Detection: Our canine, with a strong sense of smell, is brought to the location to search for the scent of bed bugs. Bed bugs emit pheromones and other volatile chemicals that dogs can detect even in very small quantities. The dog is guided through the area by his handler, systematically checking various locations for the presence of bed bug scents.
Identification: When a dog detects the scent of bed bugs, it will typically show a trained behavior or signal to its handler. The handler will then confirm the detection and note the location.
Advisory Phase: After completing the detection phase, our team can provide advice or guidance based on the dog's findings.
Ongoing Monitoring: Ongoing monitoring of bed bug inspections involves regular assessments of an area or property for the presence of bed bugs after an initial detection. This proactive approach helps to catch any potential bed bug infestations early and prevent them from becoming widespread. -
